I have two distinct lives. One in the trenches of low-budget film and television, the other in professional gambling. Because of the feast-or-famine nature of show business I need a reliable income... gambling. So here you will read about both worlds. Enjoy!

Gambling With an Edge - guest Anthony Curtis 5
Our guest this week is Anthony Curtis, owner of The Las Vegas Advisor and Huntington Press publishing.
I love your show -its one of my favorite 2 gambling podcasts. I have a follow-up question about MyVegas. Do you have to show ID to actually collect an earned comp? And, does your name on the ID have to match your facebook name?
Thanks for all the information you, Bob Dancer, and your guests make available.
You do have to show ID to pick up the comp, but it does not have to match your Facebook name. You will see that thousands of people use names like Johnny MyVegas. Those are the people you want to friend since you know they are going to accept because they are trying to build their friend list too. I would recommend having a completely separate FB account to do this that has nothing to do with who you really are.
There is a massive group on FB for myvegas https://www.facebook.com/groups/myvegasguides/ You can find all the info you need there. I have been playing since May and have 415k points. I just let it spin in the background while doing other things on the computer or at work.
There is also something called social rewards that takes about a minute a day and is worth $20/month in TR credits.
